Dusktone — Visceral Introspections, Imprint. Long live to Death Metal !

Death metal is dead, long live death metal!

It is certainly nothing new that the success of a genre like death metal has never faded over time and indeed has been renewed year after year by including ever new styles and contaminations. From old-school to dissonant or to techno, not forgetting crossovers with doom and black metal.

For this reason Dusktone, so far active on the black metal and funeral doom side, has decided to dedicate a line of its catalog to the thousand facets of this genre which, despite its name, just doesn’t want to die! Thus, VISCERAL INTROSPECTIONS was born: the appointment is for the first months of 2024!

The first two releases, announced for the first part of 2024, are the vinyl versions of two products we considered from the beginning noteworthy.

They are the debut EP of REAPING FLESH, “Abyss Of Existence”, and then the first album of the SONUM, “Visceral Void Entropy”.

The former move into old-school territory with their massive American sound (but also a recognizable love for melody!) reminiscent of the golden years of Massacre, Obituary and Autopsy.

The latter instead offer a dissonant and dark death metal with various influences that will not fail to please fans of the cryptic sounds of Ulcerate, Altarage, Gorguts or Nero Di Marte.

Both vinyls will be available in black and in two limited colored versions! Details will be announced shortly before the end of the year, through our official communication channels.

During 2024, the “Visceral Introspections” line will move in two directions: it will reissue records from the past that deserve to be rediscovered and to add noteworthy death metal acts of various genres to its roster! Scouting season is open!
